The National Research Centre (NCRC) is a State Corporation established by the National Crime Research Centre Act No. 4 of 1997. The Centre is mandated to carry out research into causes of crime, its prevention and to disseminate the research findings and recommendations to Government Agencies concerned with the administration of criminal justice and other relevant stakeholders.

Pursuant to section 11 of the National Crime Research Centre Act, 1997 the Governing Council invites applications from suitable qualified candidates for the appointment to the position of Director/Chief Executive Officer. The job holder is the Accounting Officer of the Centre; oversees the day-to-day implementation of the Centre’s Mandate; and is responsible to the Governing Council for provision of strategic direction and leadership at the Centre.
