Introduction to Issue/Policy Briefs
The Centre plays advisory role to Government agencies in the administration of criminal justice and other stakeholders. This is done through the issuance of thematic Crime Research Reports, Policy Briefs and Issue Briefs. The Centre has issued out policy and issue briefs around borderland related crimes and security threats, link between Boda boda motorcycle transport and crime, disguised perpetrators of corruption and unexplained wealth accumulation in the public sector, state of organized criminal gangs in Kenya, mapping chronic crimes in forty seven (47) Counties, root causes of unrest and arsons cycle in public secondary schools in second term, perceptions of living with police officers as next door neighbours in Kenya.
