National Crime Mapping, 2022 sought to map out crime prevalence and trends in the country; establish the main perpetrators of crimes; factors contributing to crime; the modus operandi of crime perpetrators; consequences of crime; and crime prevention measures and strategies. The study found out the prevalent crimes in the country includes usage of drugs, alcohol and substance abuse, house breakings, general stealing, robbery with violence and burglary.
